If you have vinyl siding you might think you don’t have to maintain it very much as you would with wood. Even though vinyl siding doesn’t rot or wear in the same way as wood, it can crack or puncture.
We recommend washing it once a year to protect it from grime and invasive plant life. You can use a sponge or a soft bristle brush and a water hose.
Also, be aware before and after a storm if there are any areas that are damaged. During high winds vinyl siding can sometimes be pulled off.
